Non Surgical Fibroblasting Treatments

Unknown 8

Plasma Pen, innovated by Louise Walsh International, is the world’s most advanced nitrogen plasma device on the market, that provides a variety of treatments through its non-invasive soft surgery. Our devices have been designed and manufactured with the end client in mind, ensuring a smooth treatment process with the best Plasma fibroblast aftercare.

How Plasma Pen can benefit you?  Plasma Pen treatments really are like no other laser treatments on the market. Our nitrogen plasma is non-chromophore dependent, which means when it interacts with the skin tissue, it is not reliant on making contact on the parts of the molecules responsible with colour.  So we can offer non-invasive treatments that do not require a general anaesthetic, as required with more traditional surgeries.

Soft surgery is ideal for mid facial, lower facial, and advanced skin care treatments, such as:

  • forehead lifts
  • crows feet smoothing
  • jaw augmentation
  • eye lifts
  • neck lifts
  • bunny Lines
  • acne scarring smoothing
  • uneven skin tone correction
  • acne scarring smoothin
  • Tightens any loose skin on any part of the face and body

What Plasma Pen does?  Nitrogen plasma energy transfers to the skin’s epidermal layer, whilst also heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure. This micro-trauma affects the superficial epidermis, as well as a deeper zone within the dermis – particularly the fibroblasts.

Plasma Pen is an innovative fibroblasting device. The unique fractional and permeating tips by Plasma Pen work to evenly distribute plasma at a lower temperature over a wider area; whilst Plasma Pen nano-probes deliver concentrated nitrogen plasma gas non-invasively to the epidermal layer of the skin. The results are almost instant, and in many cases will last up to 3 years!

What is the Plasma Pen treatment process?

  • with the Plasma Pen, the precision plasma arc causes immediate superficial micro-trauma to the upper epidermal layer of the skin.
  • this micro-trauma stimulates the healing process for the creation of new, rejuvenated, tight and smooth tissue over the next 12 weeks.
  • during this phase collagen and elastin are produced, plumping the structure of the skin to soften and eliminate lines and wrinkles.

TECHNOLOGY

  • create artificial plasma to deliver fibroblasting treatments
  • simply put, our innovative Plasma Pen device converts electrical energy into electrostatic energy to create nitrogen plasma gas by Claire who is a highly trained Plasma Pen technician.

Skin Tightening and Repair – as we age, our skin’s natural production of collagen molecules slows down dramatically – leading to a deflationary effect on the surface of our skin. This causes us to get fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin as we get older. As the scaffolding of our skin deteriorates, it loses it’s natural laxity and texture, as the elastin that underpins our skin’s elasticity begins to wear out. Plasma Pen fibroblsating treatments can support this loss in structure with our range of non-invasive, soft-surgical face lifts and skin tightening treatments.  Our non-invasive, soft-surgical skin tightening treatment method stimulates the fibroblasts in the skin to significantly tighten, repair and eliminate wrinkles.

First 3-7 days – the innovative fibroblasting treatments with the Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International is known to deliver compressed downtimes, higher velocity recovery and superior results. Here is what to expect from each stage of the healing journey following a soft-surgery fibroblasting treatment by Plasma Pen.  In the first 3 to 7 days, tiny carbon crusts appear on the skin as a sign of the new epithelial tissue.  These carbon crusts serve as a natural and protective biological dressing, that will flake off naturally as the newly formed and rejuvenated skin appears underneath. The fibroblasting treatment with a Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International creates Type 111 collegan, that works to minimise the effect and appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and skin aging.

1-12 weeks post treatment – the comprehensive healing response is characterised by the strengthening, plumping, inflation and lifting of the skin. We start to see the reversal of premature degeneration and a stimulation of white blood cells, filling in any gaps created through micro-trauma.

Up to 12 weeks – 12 weeks post treatment, the skin starts to form new blood vessels and release growth factors. These growth factors include “cytokines” – small proteins that help modulate our immune response, our cell ageing and the repair and growth of new cells.

How long does it last?  3-5  years depending on your lifestyle choices and skin type.

  • Eye Lifts – The skin around the upper and lower eyelids can begin to droop and sag with age. Precision application of plasma energy helps to reactivate the fibroblasts and boost new collagen production in this area, for a smoother appearance.
  • Crows feet. – Crows feet can greatly affect confidence and can make the face appear older than it really is. Careful application of plasma energy can eradicate deep furrows and fine lines around the eyes, for a more youthful look.
  • Neck Lift – As part of the ageing process, our skin loses its elasticity and the muscles start to slacken. A Plasma Pen Neck Lift can tighten and lift the skin of the neck, without the need for painful invasive surgery.
  • Jaw augmentation – The skin around the jawline can become soft and lose definition over time. Plasma Pen treatment helps to kick start the collagen production process and create a firmer look around the jaw.

Healing & Aftercare Process

Very few of our clients experience any complications after a Plasma Pen treatment. Our treatments deliver compressed downtimes, quicker recovery and incredible results. During the healing process, it is important to remember not to pick or scratch at the Plasma crusts. We recommend using topical aloe vera up to three times per day to provide relief from itching, whilst also speeding up the healing process

During the healing process, we recommend you do not use plasters, dressing, makeup, skin creams or other beauty products. Leaving the skin able to breathe is the best way to enable the skin to heal; so you can look your best! Following Plasma Pen treatments, should take Vitamin C to give your immune system the boost you need to heal quickly. You should also use SPF 50 sunscreen for at least 12 weeks, and avoid sunbeds and sunbathing whilst the skin is healing.

As with most skin rejuvenation treatments, you may experience some side-effects following a Plasma Pen treatment. However, the post-treatment downtime and recovery from a Plasma Pen device are far superior to other treatments with reduced downtime and faster recovery times.

Our Plasma Pen device, when used with our exclusive nano-probes, allow specialist Plasma Pen technicians to work very quickly and efficiently whilst also minimising the potential discomfort.

How to prepare for your Plasma Pen treatment?

To ensure the very best results, it’s important to follow all advice from your Plasma Pen Technician prior to your treatment. We recommend that you;

  • avoid sun-bathing, spray-tanning, tanning injections or sunbeds for at least 8 weeks before your treatment and afterwards.
  • avoid any other type of treatment in the same area as you are having treated for up to 4 weeks before the treatment, including laser therapy, chemical peels, micro-needling, or fillers
  • use SPF50 daily for up to 4 weeks before the treatment to protect your skin
  • avoid smoking and alcohol in the run-up to your treatment

How to care for your skin for the first 7 days

For the first 7 days following a Plasma Pen facial treatment, it is normal for your skin to feel quite tight and dry, or you may experience very slight and occasional weeping that will settle over time. Small Plasma carbon crusts will form on the treated area, and these will be visible for up to a week or so before naturally flaking off. To care for your skin following a Plasma Pen facial treatment, we recommend the following;

Do not pick off the crusts as this will delay the healing process, and can cause scarring.

Cleanse the area daily with lukewarm water, and a soft, lint-free cloth to remove excess oil. Follow this by patting skin dry with a clean tissue.

Ensure the scabs and crusts are hydrated by applying Silver Colloidal Gel with
Aloe Vera up to three times a day.

Plasma Pen Treatments and Aftercare How to look after your skin for the first three months

Once the Plasma carbon crusts have fallen off, you must now begin to apply SPF 50+ sunscreen every day whilst your skin is healing, and for at least

12 weeks.

Avoid saunas, and sunbeds for up to 12 weeks during the healing period.

Avoid all other medi-aethetic or surgical treatments on the same area for at least 12 weeks whilst the skin is healing.

Ensure the scabs and crusts are hydrated by applying Silver Colloidal Gel with Aloe Vera up to three times a day.
